Purpose
This water well viewer was created for the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality by MSU Remote Sensing & GIS Research and Outreach Services. It is designed to serve the needs of well drillers and other users of water well records.

Important Information for Users
Internet Explorer bookmarks the viewer incorrectly, making it difficult to run the application. To insure that the viewer works correctly during future sessions, do one of the following:
  • Bookmark this page and always start the viewer from the link below.
  • Edit the bookmark saved by Internet Explorer to replace the file name viewer.htm at the end of the
      URL with default.htm. The correct URL for the viewer is http://wellviewer.rsgis.msu.edu/default.htm
The viewer uses pop-up windows to display data and other information. You may need to disable software that blocks or kills pop-up windows while using the viewer.
